In as much detail as possible, what happened and when.
If a case already exists, its number and the court.
Any deadline you are aware of.
Whether you have already been advised or represented by another lawyer on this matter.
You can and should attach the relevant documents to your email – decisions, notices, contracts, correspondence. Keep the originals and send copies. Until a power of attorney is signed there is no lawyer-client relationship, but anything you write to me is covered by professional secrecy.
